I get very very nervous around people i don’t know, and I would really really like to be more social but i end up getting anxiety about it, due to my stutter, as i do have a severe stutter. I never had social anxiety till after stopping the anti anxiety meds, in which i was on for general anxiety disorder.

At night time I have severe anxiety and paranoia problems. I continually convince myself that I can hear noises downstairs and I scare myself into believing that someone is trying to/has broken into my home. As a result of this I am up and down the stairs double checking locks etc, and this goes on for hours. I’m hardly sleeping and its really taking its toll. Does anyone have any advice on how to overcome this problem?

I recently got prescribed to zoloft and klonopin for my anxiety, I’ve decided not to even take the zoloft because I am not depressed and never have been, even though its FDA approved to help anxiety i do not want to be on antidepressants. I still believe I am a very mentally strong person and would make a great soldier, I want to follow my father and grandfathers footsteps and serve my country. Please no negative responses I dont need to hear peoples bullsh*t. Thank you.

I need to go to the doctors to check for anxiety and I need to know why their gonna do. What kind of tests will they administer? Blood, urine? Thanks for any help and take care. I don’t use drugs or drink but a person I live with smokes marijuana and I don’t want that showing up on my tests via secondhand.

This is a general question, asking for some “Natural” ways to overcome depression and anxiety. I know that there are prescription drugs you can take so I don’t need any advice on that. But are there any sleeping methods, or good things to eat or drink, etc. to get over anxiety and depression
