Lately I’ve been trying to raise my cosmic consciousness, intuition, and connectedness through meditation and self hypnosis tapes. The problem is that when I actually feel something starting to happen (like a “lifting up” sensation) I get anxiety in my chest/stomach and it brings me back down. How can I overcome that fear? I’m fairly new to all this so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just had an anxiety attack. I get them every now and again (I was diagnosed when I was young with O.C.D but now I have more like anxiety) I hate those and I want to know is there a way to calm myself down? I get mini attacks when its over.
Over the years I have found working with other people can cause lots of stress and anxiety. Some people thrive on this, others learn to get around it. I found a way to avoid it by working from home instead of in an office. Yes i still have plenty of contact with the outside world but for the most part I’m doing my own thing. No boss, no coworkers, no employees, no hassles.
The downside is that there have been some lean times. Earning a living from your home, on your own, is not easy. Sure, I ‘ve had my share of successes but I’ve also had some struggles.
One thing I have realized is that you need to jump on an opportunity when it presents itself. Let me give you an example. I have a backlink building system for websites, and I have been building this system over much of the past year. I was always honest about how it worked and what it could do, and couldn’t do. Recently another system was launched by another internet marketer, and that marketer made all sorts of wild claims about what his could do. Turns out his system works exactly the same as a small part of mine. So, I put together a product comparison webpage that showed quite clearly how that system offered only a small part of what my system had already been offering. It’s just too bad that there are some people out there who will say anything to sell something, and I’m happy to set the record straight.
But the nice thing is that this other system generated a ton of attention exactly because of its ridiculous claims, so by setting the record straight in my advertsiements and capturing some of this attention, my sales have been going up. So sometime opportunity knocks in ways you don’t expect.

I am without health insurance, and suffer from moderate anxiety/depression (diagnosed by my doctor) and am looking for information on herbal or natural remedies to help calm my anxiety. I have tried st. johns wart more than once, and didn’t notice any difference, and I am looking for other herbs and such that might help, preferably with knowledge from experience.
