Getting Your Life Back

Some familiar herbs used to treat hemorrhoids are witch hazel, butcher’s broom and barberry. To encourage blood flow and healthy veins, use butcher’s broom. Everyday one to three 100-milligram pills will prove helpful.
As with any form of treatment that affects your health, consult your physician before applying any herbal hemorrhoid treatment methods, especially if you are on prescription drugs, breastfeeding, pregnant or dealing with other medical issues. Endeavor to always follow the label on the product. If you are pregnant, taking MAO inhibitors, alpha blockers or nursing, butcher’s broom should not be taken. Put witch hazel directly on the hemorrhoids using a cotton ball. Since this is a natural astringent, it will help lessen irritation and restore comfort. Add liquid barberry root to water, it shores up the gallbladder and liver, as well as thwarts constipation. Blend two milliliters with a little bit of water three times daily. If you are with child or nursing, do not use this.
