I am a relatively talented violist, who freaks out at auditions and when I have to play in front of people. I have done the beta blocker thing, and want to overcome the anxiety,not just mask it.

I’m a singer who has often dreaded public performing. The thing to focus on is that in order to do your best you will need to be a bit keyed up (forgive the pun!) so that you can focus. Do you drink?
